This is a SCAM! There is no kind of customer service here at all, and they dislike when you know your stuff. I only went to them because I was in need of a loan, but other than that, I usually file on my own. The owner, an Asian lady, kept going up on the prices. The very 1st time it was $475. The banks DO NOT charge that much at all. Another person came in and asked her her price and the owner began to whisper. She proceeded to tell me that she would give me a flat rate of $400. I had to think about it, but once I did and went back in, she tried telling me that it would be $565 and she would charge me $450. The thing that upset me was that she NEVER gave me my exact amount. She continued to lie and play around with my numbers. I would ask her my exact amount and her response, "Oh, a little over $7000." I said, "No, I need to get my exact amount." She became a little frustrated and said, "A little over $7500." My thoughts were that jumped really fast. So, I took another approach and asked, "How much would be left once you take your fee?" Her response was, "Oh, you'll still have a decent return. It'll be a few dollars over $7400." So, how is that? If I only had $7500 and then she subtracts her $400, wouldn't that leave me with less than $7100? So, adding everything up in my head, I asked her why she couldn't give me my exact amount. She didn't want to because she wasn't for sure that I would file with them. I explained to her that other companies give you the exact amount. Her response was, "Well, maybe you should go with them." WHAT?! This is why there is no service here because they obviously don't understand customer service. Jerking the customer around is super ridiculous! She then tells me that I would need to pay her close to $40 EXTRA on top of the amount she would charge me in order for her to give me a direct amount. How is that? You're already making a $400- $500 dollar profit. I will be reporting this tax office for fraud practices. Then she tells me to apply for a loan, it's another $65. INSANE!!! I'm sure they'll be a few more "positive" reviews that will pop up after this one! Oh, the loans aren't guaranteed. Also, she tried lying to me and telling me that I COULDN'T for separately being a married woman. She kept saying, "You can't file without your husband if you're legally married!" I explained to her that her words were not true at all. I had been married for over 17 years and I know the law. Stay away unless they change their practices!!!! Advice: quit being so money hungry. Your tax office will suffer in the end. No wonder you have to have a person dressed as the Statue of Liberty you get attention.
