What if an item in my order is out of stock in the store?
is that suppose to be an additional bonus?
Recently I bought some Hickory Farm summer sausage, got home and sliced some up.
Or they leave the handicap individual in the car, while the healthy one runs inside the store to shop .
This is our neighborhood grocery store, here's the problems. Over crowding, not enough handicap parking. If they actually had someone to police those spots, there may be enough parking.
Click-list, manager in particular- read your own companies substitution policy and LEARN IT!
Also, what's with the long check out lines,
• First, if the same type of out-of-stock item is available in a larger quantity, your order will be upgraded to the larger item.
Prices were good and the quality of produce was excellent. Great music played from the overheads and the staff were doing a dance routine by the bakery. Too bad it's so far from me; but when I visit Richmond/Rosenberg again, I will go to this Kroger. 5 stars to them!
When you place your order online, you can indicate whether you’d like to allow substitutions. If a substitution is necessary, we’ll follow the steps below to fill your order as best we can. Here’s how it works:
Very excited! This is the first time I saw moth hatch from chocolate pecans right there at the store. Photo attached.
Just hate it when someone who does not have a placard or a designated license plate parks in those areas just, out of convenience.
• If the same brand is not available, the same type of item from a different brand may be substituted.
I believe it was probably last year's holiday item they froze, thawed and sold.
• Any special dietary items (gluten-free, sugar-free, lactose-free, vegan) will always be substituted with items that meet the same dietary requirements.
Should have returned it, but didn't want the hassle trying to find parking. I'm sure Krogers was counting on that.
This goes to the management team who has never contacted me after I filed a complaint about their employee GILBERT (guy at exit who does nothing) who accused me of stealing and got in a verbal confrontation with me. Gilbert & Heavy set security guard "tried" to man handle me and once a supervisor "marge" verified that I did not steal my merchandise and that indeed did pay for it and even when she told both employees to back off they totally ignored her and they even spilled coffee on items I bought because they tried pulling the cart away from me. They went to far. If they thought I was stealing they should of called the cops. This guy gilbert just stands at the door sometimes but on other time's when I've come to shop he is also sitting down on the Handicap scooters. He does nothing. There is is elderly people who work here and work hard. During the verbal confrontation he threatened me and said for me to meet him outside and of course as a pissed off customer I replied "you better not let me catch you outside". No paying and loyal customer should have to go through this. Can not wait for HEB to open.
What a disappointment.
While Kroger strives to keep all items in stock, an item you’ve selected may occasionally be out of stock. Our ClickList® Associates are trained to make proper substitutions for out of stock items, so your order will always have the items you need, as close to your original order as possible.
• If a larger quantity is not available, but the same brand and item is available in a different package (for example, boxed sugar instead of bagged sugar), that item will be substituted.
What a awesome Kroger! My first visit to this store when Hurricane Harvey was visiting Houston. The store is massive! Reminds me of European supermarkets where everything is available in one place! They have a coffee bar, Wine store, butcher, baker (Oh the smell of fresh baked bread!) oh and of course candles but no candle stick maker (HAHA!) Clothing, kitchen ware, cosmetics, big pet section and GLUTEN FREE section. Staff was everywhere and they were smiling and helping! The store was so clean and neat that I thought I must be in a parallel universe!
Those people leave it in the parking spaces, unable to walk just a few more feet.
The other pet peeve, is returning the cart in the correct spot.
