The apartment it self was beautiful. The management staff is horrible.. that in itself should warn you. I always had issues with bugs. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE AS LONG AS THE MANAGER MAGGIE WORKS HERE! All of the problems are the tenants fault. On the bright side the maintenance staff was always great. GOOD LUCK!
Now the office staff needs to get training on customer service, I called today someone new working their and she kept calling me Sir, after I told her 3 times, I am a woman. I asked what is the manager name, couldn't remember, she said she didn't know. I know me that is the first thing I know when starting a job.
POOR SERVICE FROM THE MANAGEMENT!!!!! I am currently working out of town. I usually leave Sunday and return Thursday or Friday evening. No one is at the apartment while I'm gone. Here is the issue I have with the apartment management. When the apartment management says they will get back with me about an issue I have and they don't, I felt like I should do this review. I should not have to ask 3 times and still no results. On Sunday March 19, 2017 I submitted a request to have the ice maker looked at. It wasn't making ice. Monday March 20, 2017 I got an email the ticket was closed and the ice maker was fixed. My son works nearby so I asked him to go check the icemaker if he had time. Late Wednesday evening he sent me a text that the ice maker was still not working and the worst part, all of the items in the freezer had defrosted and blood from the meat was all over the place. Thursday morning I called the management and told the lady the issue. She said she would have someone go look and get back with me. I never heard back from her. I got home very late Thursday night and the freezer and ice maker were working. Friday morning March 24 I went to the office and advised another lady of the issue. I told her I called yesterday and never heard back from anyone. She told me she would have a maintenance guy go look at the ice maker and to also check why the items defrosted. I was home all day. I never left the apartment. About 4:00 I got an email stating the service ticket was closed. Again I went to the office to ask how the ticket was closed when no one showed up. The manager heard me complaining and asked what the problem was. By now I was upset. I explained the situation to him and he said he would have to get back to me on Monday since the technician was gone for the weekend. I told him I had to throw everything away. I could not take a chance on meat that was un-frozen from the store, then frozen, un-frozen and frozen again. He said he would get back with me about helping with a cost to replace the lost food. I wasn't asking to be reimbursed but I wanted someone to get back with me. is this too much to ask? I pay rent and expect good service in return. As of writing this review, Tuesday May 2, 2017 I still have not heard back from anyone so I decided to submit this review. The attached pictures were taken Friday morning March 24. By now everything was frozen again. The pictures show where the meat leaked along the top and side of the door. My son wiped up the mess on the floor so I was unable to get a picture of that. I have to give the apartment management 1 red star for the very POOR service.
So pro's - price great, grounds they do keep them up, Corp office handling issues great.
Now you can always complain about this or that, but I have been here over 3 years, and over all I am happy. When I am not I call the right person to get the job done. I could move somewhere else but why, location great, rent great. Very quite place to live.
I wanted to say thank you to the Staff at The Waterford at Summer Park! I will have to be honest and say that things did not start out well do to a misunderstanding, but my family has been ecstatic about our move! Maggie, Jessica, and Lynn have been more than attentive, accommodating, and have shown true professionalism for me and my family. I have read a few reviews before me (one very negative) and I find it extremely hard to believe anyone in this staff would do the things stated in that negative review. The staff that I know went the extra mile to get me another apartment when I ask for one and immediately helped me extend my lease without issue, when I should not have been able to. Sometimes as a customer we do not understand the stresses of the job that these ladies have. They are dealing with different personalities and have to manage different issues everyday that they have to adapt to. to be very clear have experienced some the best customer service I have ever received and I am proud to have been part of the The Waterford at Summer Park Community! OH I ALMOST FORGOT, THE POOL IS AMAZING FOR THOSE WHO LOOOVE TO RELAX!!!
Con's- smells like poop, don't know I live in front of pool are, where most people walk their dog, they pick up their poop, if I see they don't I ask them too. Trash it overflows a lot they need to get better control over that.
Clean apartments but parking sucks. So far I haven't had any problems with management. I also have never seen a roach or waterbug in my unit.
I have lived here since they opened, and yes their has been changes since new management has taken over last year. With my issues I cut out the middle man and went to corp. office and everything was taken care of with in 48 hours.
