Looks great after the remodel. The new pet wash service is great and me and my dog can enjoy bath time without the mess at home. Staff is always friendly to me and my 4 legged friend
Me and my friends decided we wanted to buy goldfish, I asked one of the female workers nicely, she gave me the fakest smile possible. She then proceeded to ask me if I'm '18 or older', it's none of her business to be asking me questions like that, I'm 16, but she didn't budge, she rudely said 'sorry' turned around and walked away//(different story) the last time I went to buy fish, I asked one of female workers (not the same one) to get some fish, she took me to the section and I wanted around 5 goldfish, she then told me 'they would grow 10 inches' I'm not lying, I then looked at her in shock and almost laughed, how could a goldfish grow 10 inches?! That's impossible!! I decided to just let it go she then got me 1 goldfish without further questions. I'm warning you, please don't go here, it's a waste of time and money, trust me, it's just not worth your time.
I went there with my wife and son to get a couple more fish for his tank. My wife talked to the employee a bit about what kind of fish we had and the tank size we had. When we tried to purchase the fish we wanted the employee told us that he wouldn't sell them to us because our tank is not large enough for the amount of fish we have. My wife had done plenty of research and knew exactly what fish she could have for the size tank, and it was none of his business anyway. I immediately asked to speak to a manager to which he of course replied that "he will just tell you the same thing". After insisting a few more times he finally called for a manager and we waited and waited and waited some more. After about seven to ten minutes he just started walking off to the front of the store so I followed him, and still no manager but we did find one of his coworkers who was almost as rude as he was but did say that she would sell us the fish "but there would be no 30 day guarantee". Anyway it's already been a couple of weeks and all of the fish are doing fine. Unfortunately it was only on the way home that we realized how truly hypocritical the "Petco know it alls" really were because just like most pet stores the tanks they had were severely overcrowded and there was more than a few fish that were on the verge of floating belly up along with the dead ones they have to scoop out every morning. I can understand being passionate about animal welfare but for one thing he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, and two those fish stand a lot better chance with us than in their store.
This is absurd if Petco's new standard is creating an assembly line for grooming. Don't you dare kennel my dog for a simple bath!! Shame on you Rosenberg store for treating my dog and I like bothersome pests, and shame on you Petco for allowing or even standardizing a pet assembly line for grooming just to increase your profit! I deserve better, and more importantly, my pup deserves better.
Go somewhere else for grooming services! Save your pet and yourself from the stress and terrible customer service. I used to take my Boston Terrier here for nail trim/file and often bath too; this was before the remodeling. It used to be a pleasant and quick experience under what I can only assume was different management.
Every time I come here I never have any issues. Always find what I need. Well organized and clean. Easy to find things, common sense.
Now I was treated like a nuisance rather than a paying customer, and my happy-go-lucky Boston (who loves EVERYONE) was afraid to go near the groomer. Her attitude towards my sweet pup was likely the reason for his fear. They estimated 3-4 hours for a short-haired breed that needed a shampoo, dry, and nail trim... a service that previously took 45 minutes MAX. When I asked them about the time increase, they rudely responded that this is the standard time frame, and they had a lot of dogs with only two groomers.
